Dental bonding involves the placement and molding of a strong tooth-colored resin material directly onto a cracked, broken, or misshapen tooth. Unlike treatment involving porcelain veneers or crowns which require fabrication in a dental lab before placement, bonding can usually be completed in a single office visit. Although generally not as durable as veneers, the dental bonding can maintain its integrity for years with proper care, and the process can be repeated when necessary. Most importantly, the results are immediate and visually pleasing.
